Metadata templates library

Metadata templates indicate which data must be recorded in the metadata according to which standard (e.g. DCAT) in order to optimally comply with the FAIR principles. Metadata templates are determined per sub-area by a data governance committee.

The metadata templates library offers templates

  • Researchers can easily make research results reusable by recording data based on metadata templates drawn up by fellow researchers.

  • Data holders receive direction for setting up healthcare and research data platforms with supported/standard data metadata templates supported by the data governance committee

The metadata templates themselves comply with the FAIR principles of being findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable from the library.

The metadata templates are provided with version control; researchers can continue to work on each other's reusable data dictionaries

The metadata templates can be directly applied in research Data Management Plans (DMPs)
