The data holder is responsible for making data suitable for multiple use
The data holder is responsible for making data multi-usable. Health-RI has the task of developing the infrastructure that contributes to facilitating this process as well as possible.
The Health-RI ecosystem strives for an integrated health data infrastructure in which various types of health data can be shared and used for different purposes. If the health data must be made suitable for reuse, the responsibility for making this health data suitable for multiple use lies with the data holder himself. This includes aspects such as data standardization, privacy protection and security. The date holder can decide for himself which solutions are applied. Â
Health-RI facilitates mutual cooperation between the various participating data holders to save time and money with similar solutions.
Unity of technology promotes speed of implementation and cost-effectiveness. Health-RI orchestrates collaboration between data holders in which knowledge and technology are shared and it is prevented from creating different solutions to the same problem in different places.Â
Particular attention is paid to the data holders of healthcare information systems. The National Health Data Infrastructure Agreements for Research and Innovation should be in line with the architectural principles of healthcare parties such as CumuluZ, in the pursuit of an integrated ecosystem to promote the availability of health data for the benefit of both care and research and innovation.Â
With this agreement, Health-RI demonstrates its commitment to creating a robust and collaborative infrastructure, in which data holders are actively encouraged to make data suitable for multiple use and in which health data can be shared and used in a secure and standardized way.Â
