Information
This article describes the information layer of the architecture.
In this layer we identify the required data sets (which can be realized at application level by databases or repositories) and assign them to the identified roles. Furthermore, we describe the preferred standards within the Health-RI ecosystem, define the minimum metadata set, and provide an overview of the various registries within the Health-RI ecosystem.
Datasets
Datasets are used or generated by certain roles. The article https://health-ri.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HWV4/pages/793619509 contains an overview.
Minimal (meta)dataset
To minimize the administrative burden on healthcare professionals and to make data findable and usable for multiple use, the minimum (meta)datasets must be defined: https://health-ri.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HWV4/pages/793619558
Preferred standards
There is a great diversity of standards. We opt for a limited number of semantic and syntactic standards, with which the different target groups can exchange data with minimal loss of quality. These standards must be mutually harmonized so that they can be translated to each other. We describe these preferred standards within the Health-RI ecosystem in the article https://health-ri.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HWV4/pages/793619608.
Registers
A registry is a record of data on a subject that is considered the primary source of that information within the Health-RI ecosystem. A number of registers are described in the article https://health-ri.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HWV4/pages/793619662
Persistent identifiers
To make and keep information findable, it is necessary to have stable identifiers. The article https://health-ri.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HWV4/pages/793619710 is a discussion paper about a possible solution.
