Health-RI wiki v4.0 -> consultatie (open tot 03-12-2024)
Business processes
This article describes the business process layer of the architecture. The processes are described through storylines of the actors. The storylines form the foundation to define the policy, information, application and technical layers. The data processing processes are also described in the Data storylines.
The storylines are a main source of input for the rest of the Health-RI Architectural Design:
The data and information objects in the storylines are elaborated in .
The specific applications in the storylines are elaborated in the application/ IT-infrastructure chapter.
In the previous version of the wiki, the content of this article was in the article processes. That article also contained an overarching storyline. That storyline has been completely rewritten in a separate article.
Data storylines
The data storylines describe the various data processing operations that are needed to facilitate the storyline research and innovation. The next section introduces the roles used in the data storylines.
Actors
At the process layer, we look at the processes from the point of view of roles. A role has specific and defined responsibilities within the Health-RI ecosystem. An entity can fulfill one or more roles. At the highest level, the following actors are distinguished as special roles in the Health-RI Architectural Design:
Data holder
Data user
These are very broad roles. The tasks and responsibilities can be logically broken down, as described in the Roles page.
Process diagrams
The description of the storylines assumes a happy flow: to show the full elaboration of the process, we show a positive effect of the process. We leave out the fact that a process stops after one step, because a user misses a certain authorization, for example. The storylines are described on the pages below
