Secure processing environment

Central analysis of health data takes place within the Health-RI ecosystem in a secure processing environment. A secure processing environment can be any environment in which data is processed and in which appropriate measures in the field of system security and user access have been implemented to adequately protect the data itself and the privacy of the data subjects. Given the range of use cases, various secure processing environments can be used, as long as they fall within the requirements that Health-RI sets for these environments. Secure processing environments can be used for both data preparation (on the data holder side) and for data analysis (on the data user side).
