Domain progress

status: in review

In the table below, we list which domains are currently working on a domain-specific metadata schema (petal) for datasets, who is the contact person for this, what is the scope of the petal, and what is the status.
In terms of status, we distinguish: Preparing (step 0, step 1); Analyzing (step 2, step 3); Modeling (step 4); Implementing (step 5-7); Operational.

Imaging

Radiological imaging data. In the short term the focus is on source images, but in the longer term it should also support derived images, such as segmentations. Also, the current focus is on the widely used modalities CT, MRI and PET, but the model should allow for expanding to support other modalities, depending on the wishes of the community.

Modeling

Omics

Data generated from high-throughput technologies used to study the various "omes" of an organism, such as the genome (RNA, DNA, Proteins), transcriptome (all the RNA molecules), proteome (all the proteins), metabolome (all the small molecules).
